Goal
The mission of PRACTICA is poverty alleviation through dissemination of best practices and development and promotion of appropriate water and energy related technologies and services.
Non-Profit status
Practica Foundation is registered as a Public Benefit Organisation (ANBI status). The foundation does not aim to make a profit. A surplus on the balance is used to finance R&D activities and other projects, which are indicated in our annual financial statement.

PRACTICA works on the following activities to reach its mission: Research, consultancy & advice; sector development; technical training; technical design & innovation.
Policy & status
Collection of assets
Grants and donations. Endowments, testamentary dispositions and specific legacies. All other acquisitions and benefits, including contributions from parties whose interests are served by the activities of the foundation and proceeds from such activities.

Regulation of assets
The executive board consists of one managing director, responsible for managing the organisation. An additional representative is registered at the chamber of Commerce to legally sign for expenditures up to 25.000 euro and implementation contracts up to 50.000 euro. Activities of higher amounts need to be approved through the board.
The supervisory board consists of 3 people and is responsible for controlling the executive board. 4 times annually the supervisory board meets with the executive board to evaluate the financial situation of the organisation.
Rewards
The members of the supervisory board do not receive any remuneration in respect of their activities. The employees, including the managing director, are on the payroll. Each year the supervisory board decides if the employees are entitled to a maximum of 8% of their annual salary as an additional reward depending on the financial situation of the organisation.
